This free application allows you to listen to Radio Swiss Classic on your mobile device whenever you feel like it and no matter where you are. Radio Swiss Classic is a non-commercial radio station playing a large selection of first-rate classical music 24 hours a day. The station is completely free of advertisement and the only talk to be heard on Radio Swiss Classic are brief announcements of the titles that are about to be played. The music programme consists of 4,000 tracks. On average, around 50% of the music has a connection to Switzerland.

Ive been listening to RSC online for 5+ years now. Great programming and high quality AAC+ streams. And now an iPhone app!
This is an outstandingly well designed and conceived app, but theres just one problem:
It doesnt play in the background.
So, lets say youre reading in the Kindle or MegaReader app, youve got your headphones on, and you want to listen to Radio Swiss Classic while you read. You cant. The app shuts off when you go to another app.
I hope they fix this one imperfection.
I have been obsessed with this station for nearly 7 years now and their app is a must have for people that love the highest quality in classical music with little interruptions.
I was very excited to know about this App. Downloaded it and have been listening to my favorite radio station ever. I love the fact that it directs you to the iTunes or the option to tag the song and email to yourself or others.
Great app. An endless flow of nice music, and unlike other classical music apps, it reconnects reliably if the connection has a glitch. It helps if you can understand simple announcements in French, but not essential.
